1) You must have a PC, Mac or Full Size Laptop with at least 1 GB of RAM.
2) You must have a direct high speed broadband Internet connection and your upload speed must be at least 0.8 Mbps. Cable or Fiber Optic connection is preferred. DSL is not the best for broadcasting so if you have DSL you should change your provider to cable or fiber optic unless they are not available in your area.(If your upload speed is below 0.8 Mbps, a quick call to your internet service provider can boost your speed. Just ask for a speed upgrade. Test your upload speed here and click Begin Test).
What should you look for in a laptop you’ll use for camming?
RAM: 8 GB and above. Stands for random-access memory and it’s what will keep your laptop running smoothly when you have lots of tabs open, music streaming, and cam broadcasting at the same time.
Hard Drive: 1TB or more. That’s where all your files are stored. A large enough hard drive lets you save thousands of HD photos, videos you make, songs and movies on your laptop. For reference, a 500GB hard drive (half of 1 TB) lets you hold up to 140,000 pictures, 130,000 songs, or 400 movies. So, if you’re planning on storing a lot of cam-related pics and videos (and they tend to be quite big in size!), go for a 1TB hard drive.
Size and Weight. This is up to you, but a laptop with a display size of 13″ to 15″ is more portable and easier to move around the house when you cam from different location and also take with you when you travel. Weight is a similar issue, anything under 5 lbs will be more portable.
Processor: Intel Core i7 is the way to go. If you ever feel like your current laptop is “too slow”, then you need to upgrade to Intel Core i7 processor.
I personaly choise a gamer computer.
So, there you have it, some great choices for a camming laptop. If you ever want to go hardcore and splurge, I would suggest looking for a powerful gaming laptop, because they’re made to handle a lot and will never lag.

Best Webcams for Live Video Chat Overall we recommend Logitech HD external cams over built-in laptop cams for quality purposes when webcam modeling. Even with the best camera out there, a strong internet connection, good lighting, and a fast computer with enough RAM are also essential to looking your best online when working your live webcam modeling job. Eye Candy Web Models is certified to fix any computer problems for their webcam models.
Webcam Lighting Setup
If you are just getting started as a webcam model and can't afford a lighting kit you can use 2 lamps to your front right and front left. Make sure the lamps have 75 to 100 watt bulbs in them. Also make sure not to have to much light behind or above you when working your webcam job. Just taking these simple steps will make a huge difference in the quality of your live video chat when working for our webcam modeling agency. Unlike a stripper job webcam modeling is safe. Live webcam models please follow these simple equipment needed steps to make sure you make the most money possible when working your webcam modeling job.
Note: This setup can be reversed left to right. You may also find moving the Back Light to the opposite side or even center can yield good results when webcam modeling. As an alternate for using diffusers, pointing your lights towards a white wall (or the ceiling in the case of your back light) can help diffuse the light giving you softer shadows for your webcam modeling room.
A Good Microphone
While many webcams have serviceable microphones, it is useful to have a separate one, especially if you record videos to sell. It allows you to better edit the audio in post-production. Nearly any microphone in the $100 range will cut it . I personally recommend the :

Blue Yeti.
Here’s one of the most popular USB microphones for podcasting you’ll see in the market and for good reason. We think it’ll be dominating the niche for quite a few more years until something really comes along to compete with it in terms of overall quality, build as well as look of it. With the Yeti, Blue Microphones gives us You can choose between four different capsule modes (stereo, cardioid, omnidirectional, or bidirectional), which for podcasting cardioid is recommended;however, if let’s say you have a guest, you can choose to omnidirectional to have it pickup from both the front and the back, etc. Next it gives us a headphone jack within the mic itself, a USB port, an easy tilt mechanism to adjust it in front of you, and ultimately gives you semi-pro audio quality.
